If I were a stand-up comedian, I think that rather than the audience just roaring with laugher, I'd prefer it if, in between upper-moderate chuckles, they whispered "oh, that is so true!" or "dude, totally!" to their companions after witty social commentaries, like on Ellen's HBO special with her thing about the public restroom toilet paper dispenser technique, which I think about EVERY DAY.
